Ipswich Nurses provides a range of supports for people living with a disability.

We believe that being part of a person’s care team is a privilege and we understand our role is to enable you to live as independently and comfortably as possible. With Ipswich Nurses, you are the captain of your own team – we put your wishes and choices at the centre of your care plan.

Our Expertise:

Ipswich Nurses provides the full suite of nursing and care services:

  • Personal care
  • Registered Nurse services including continence care, wound care and complex care planning
  • Community Access
  • Care of children with complex needs.

High Intensity Care:

Our team of skilled and experience community registered nurses and support workers support you in meeting your complex care needs, such as:

  • enteral nutrition (PEG, Nasogatrsic Tube feeding)
  • complex medication management (including injectables)
  • complex wound care
  • respiratory support (ventilation support)
  • Tracheostomy

Our care workers have 24/7 access to on-call registered nurses, including capability to video call if required. Our care workers also have extended training and competency in injecting medications, under the guidance of the on-call registered nurse.

Caring for Children:

Ipswich Ipswich Nurses has a dedicated specialist paediatric nurse who supports our younger clients and their families. Similar to our high intensity care service, our paediatric service provides:

  • enteral nutrition (PEG, Nasogatrsic Tube feeding)
  • complex medication management (including injectables)
  • complex wound care
  • respiratory support (ventilation support)
  • Seizure Management
  • Tracheostomy Care
